Hello, I've had a weird day at my computer desk today. First the computer went mad (and I became amok) because my crazy (beloved) cat, who's on heat, started lying on the keyboard, typing random things that upset the whole computer setting. but you know what? Being unable to use the computer actually HELPED me, because I realized what a mess my desk was, and while waiting on the phone for the computer hotline, I cleared my desk and filed away *tons* of paper. Ekta's tailor dummy. Putting necklaces around a dummy's neck is a nice idea, too! Check out Ekta's dummy above, and Diane's bedroom, below (thanks, xojy!). I also love Emily Ballard's idea, seen on AT. Says Emily "And the necklace idea came from both Pottery Barn/Domino, I made them with small boards covered in foam and then with linen". After some yellow inspiration, comes the perspiration. Cleaning and organizing the kitchen, then buying some yellow stuff as pick-me-ups for the room. Here's what I found at www.Monoprix.fr : A yellow rug to put below sink, two white and yellow mugs to hang above counter, one dishtowel with same leaf/floral pattern as mugs (to be hung too), and a small bamboo tray for lemons and onions, to put on counter top. Yay!Beautymist.
