Kamal Wrapping Sheets
Hello again!
Kamal's gift wrapping sheets have beautiful patterns, all simple yet effective and beautiful!
I just bought a copy of "Lotta's Printing Studio" (after reading an enthusiastic article about it on the decor8 blog), and I plan to use Kamal's designs as an inspiration. I'll probably buy some of Kamal's good stuff anyway. A mix of the two!

Yes, we Cannes!
The Cannes Festival is about to end tomorrow and I want to tell you a few words about the President of the Jury this year, actress extraordinaire Isabelle Huppert. And show some fashion and photos of her. She's magnificent.

Love her casual wear with a twist here: look at those shoes!

Huppert's dress for the Opening Night is by Armani Privé. Wonderful lace.
Here she comes wearing it:

More photos of the very photogenic Isabelle, below:

I love her simple yet patterned white cardigan. Photo Del Rio, found here : http://www.del-rio.net/galerie_festival_jour_gb.php?jour=20000516 (Cannes 2000)

amazing portrait, from the book : "Isabelle Huppert , La femme aux portraits" by A.R. Chammah

Simply amazing!

a few notes:
COULISSES ET SOIREES DU 62e FESTIVAL (13-24 MAI 2009)
ouverture officielle

In My Purse
Remember my mentioning a SAHM that could sew for me (read here)? Check her out! Gaelle at Korriga-L.Here's my small but oh-so-cute purse:

I'm loving the way she customized with a pair of red mini-bells and a blue dragonfly! I had chosen the two fabrics (striped one outside and red one inside and a dragonfly on top). KoriiGa.L has really good taste and chose the color of the dragonfly just right and added the bells on the zip!
More pics and info to come....

PS: All photographs are by KorriGa.L - she kindly took the photos for me, since my camera is broken. The purse looks even better in person!!!

organic products deserve a nice packaging too!
Hi,
I believe organic products deserve a nice packaging too!
First are INK+WIT packging for skinnyskinny products (on their way to my home).
Second, are Florame's organic products recently redesigned, too.

I bought them at their Paris shop during my recent trip, but you can buy them online, too! Try their orange blossom soap, a real treat and delight!
enjoy

Jacky Kennedy's Eyeglasses

Nina Ricci Eyewear is re-issuing the famous eyeglasses that Jackie Kennedy wore during the 70's. Oversized and square-shaped, they were worn by the First Lady when her image appeared on the cover (see above) of the famous French magazine, "Paris-Match" in 1978. These eyeglasses have a vintage feel of course, and bear the elegant mark of the famous Jackie O. They are now available in six colors/finishes: black, horn-rimmed, grey, orange/dark brown, green/grey and pink/purple at the price of 220 euros.
